Enjoy a relaxing weekend at The Retreat Center at Camp Wyldewood with old friends or come and make some new ones.  The retreat area at Wyldewood provides for hiking, biking, 4-wheelin, or just sitting and relaxing.  The indoor retreat center has tables where conversation or games can be shared, basketball goals for some friendly competition, and plenty of space for young and old alike to enjoy this weekend get-away.

Whether you stay for the weekend or just come for the day our annual retreat is enjoyed by all.  Follow the links for lodging descriptions and registration.

What is there to do?

The retreat center is air-conditioned/heated and has full facilities.  Many love to bring games/puzzles/etc. and spend time sitting at tables playing games with one another.  Others will want to hike, walk, ride bicycles or 4-wheelers on the many trails.  There is a nice lake/pond for fishing.  You are also close enough to town to run to Wal-Mart if needed.  You can enjoy solitude while reading or company while visiting.  You can sit outside on the swing or lounge around in the retreat center.  It is a great time to get to know one another much better and spend quality time with quality people.  The retreat center is handicap accessible.

What do I bring?

Your Bible.  Your own bedding (sleeping bags are recommended).  You may also want to bring a quilt or a blanket in case of cool evenings.  Pillows, towels and wash rags.  Toiletries i.e.… soap – shampoo – deodorant etc.  Snacks and soft drinks (we operate under the pot-snack concept which means we share).  If you pay for meals they will be furnished.  You may want to bring your 4-wheelers or bicycles.  Whatever games you like i.e…. cards, dominoes, board games, puzzles etc.  You may want to bring a flashlight and mosquito spray.  FIREARMS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
