World Bible School

Members at Somers Avenue became involved in World Bible School on May 1, 2009. We have distributed over 5000 lessons in the United States, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone and Kenya. Members of our WBS ministry spend time each week grading lessons in the privacy of their home or they sometimes come together at the building for work parties. Either way, this ministry has proven enjoyable, rewarding, and something in which people of all ages can participate.

Everyday Christians of all ages, equipped with WBS correspondence courses, help teach those who want to study the Word of God. Much like spiritual pen-pals, they provide the lessons to the students, encourage them, guide them to respond to the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and help put them in touch with loving Christians near them.
