Sunshine Kids Mother’s Day Out

Our ministry is to provide a structured program for child development to parents of our community who need a warm, loving environment in which to leave their child on a short-term basis.  Sunshine Kids is staffed by mothers who are members of Somers Avenue.

1 Year Old’s Program
The classroom objectives for the 1 year olds are to enhance positive communication, to develop a sense of self through exploring the world around them, to nurture and build self-confidence the children need to be separated from familiar people and surroundings, to build their social skills, to spark their imaginations, and to provide a healthy and safe environment to nurture the social interaction of toddlers.
